Lab’s require three pieces of documentation to be compliant to the UofA’s COVID-19 protocols
- Operational Continuity Plan: As COVID-19 could lead to closure of buildings and disruption of research, all groups are asked to make an Operational Continuity Plan to identify essential services and emergency planning for ramp down of research. Follow the link to fill out the google form
- Work Logs: Each space needs to have a sign in/sign out system. This can be a physical log-in sheet or a digital tracker. Any method your lab employs to keep track of when people are in certain spaces is acceptable
- COVID-19 Hazard Assessment: All spaces must have a complete hazard assessment list what controls are used to reduce transmission of COVID-19. There are templates available for office spaces, lecture halls, field work, research labs, and teaching labs. Contact r.funk@ualberta to upload yours to the EAS Safety Committee google drive.
